The Lutheran Preschool provides a warm, loving Christian atmosphere which will enable your child to learn and grow emotionally, socially and intellectually. Our program is quite varied, giving children a wide range of experiences in blocks, arts and crafts, painting, hands-on-activities, cooking, puppets, Bible stories, music and creative movement.

Children in the 4 year old Pre-K program participate in a Kindergarten Readiness Program and a computer program in addition to the regular program.

SESSIONS:

AM - 3-year-olds  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9 to 11:30 AM

AM - 4-year-olds  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM

Enrichment Wednesdays - 4-year-olds Wednesday 9:15 AM to 12:15 PM

PM - 3 and 4-year-olds Monday, Tuesday, Thursday  12:30 to 3:15 PM

TRANSITIONS CLASS: This class is designed for children who will be 5 years old in September, October, November and/or whose parents feel are not quite ready for Kindergarten. We are also opening this opportunity up to 4 year old children who will be 5 years old in December or January. Advanced Kindergarten Readiness program will be offered to this class. The Transitions Class meets 5 days a week 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

SUMMER PROGRAM: Month of July, Mornings -  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

The school has an enclosed outdoor play facility. During cold or inclement weather, the Preschool uses the gymnasium which contains climbing apparatus and slides for the children.

The preschool follows the New York State guidelines for preschool children. Our program focuses on five aspects of the child’s life: Spiritual, Mental, Physical, Emotional, and Social. Call today for more information. We look forward to hearing from you.

The Mommy and Me Program

You and your child can have fun together in an educational and stimulating environment. The program gives your child the opportunity to socialize with peers and gives you the opportunity to share and grow with other moms. At each session the children enjoy a crafts, songs, Jesus time, snack, story and movement. We also have a parent development lesson during separation time.

The class is limited to twelve children per session and the child must be two years old by December 1st of the school year we are working in. Moms and their two-year old children join together each Wednesday for one and a half hours of activities led be experienced and caring teachers. Session A is from 9:00-10:30 AM and Session B is from 11:00-12:30 PM. For more information, please contact the Church Office at 746-4426.
