Educational Opportunities

Studying the scriptures and continually learning about Jesus’ love for us is a life-long process and a vital aspect of the Christian journey. Resurrection is proud to offer a dynamic, year-round education program.

The Education Hour: Opportunities abound for all ages on Sunday mornings, from 9:45-10:45, throughout the year. Including…

Sunday School: Wonderful and dynamic classes are available for children from age 3 through grade 12 to grow in their knowledge of the life-changing love of Jesus Christ.

High School Youth Forum: The Senior High Youth gather for an hour of food, fellowship, and discussions on topics relevant to their lives.

Adult Bible Study: All adults are invited to the church sanctuary as we delve into God’s word.

The Christian Life: This class is offered twice a year for those who are interested in learning more about the Christian faith and coming to a deeper appreciation of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. This class is designed for those considering membership at Resurrection. Contact the church office for details and dates.

The Christian Life II: This class is also offered twice a year and is open to anyone who has completed the Christian Life. The focus will be on many of the topics introduced in the Christian Life with special emphasis placed on discipleship.

Small Group Bible Study: Several groups are currently meeting to study the scriptures in this more intimate and personal setting. There is a spot just for you in one of these groups.

Women’s Bible Study: Twice a year the women of Resurrection come together for a six-week Bible study.

Men’s Discussion Groups: Various opportunities are offered for group discussions on Christian themes throughout the year.

Fall/Spring Daytime Bible Study: For those of you who can’t get away at nights, we offer a six-week Bible class in both the Fall and the Spring. Contact the church office for details and starting dates.

Congregational Bible Studies: Meet various evenings throughout the year to discuss a wide range of topics from a Christian perspective. Watch the church calendar for more information and dates.
