Our Mission

SHARE the saving message of Jesus Christ,
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28: 17

CARE for those within and beyond our community,
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all will know that you are my Disciples, if you love one another." John 13: 34-35

PREPARE hearts and minds to grow in faith, and

Our Core Values

Jesus Christ
We teach and respond to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God's Word and Sacraments. We rejoice that Jesus is the Messiah, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Bible
The Bible is God's Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.

Worship
As the people of God we gather together as a community of faith to hear God’s word, participate in His sacraments, join together in prayer, and grow together in faith.

Education
Faith in God is a life long journey. As Christians we strive to continually grow spiritually and educationally in our faith.

Mission
The love of Jesus is for all people. We strive to be a mission station for the gospel in our own local area. Yet we realize that working together with others locally, nationally, and world-wide grants us a greater reach for the sake of the Gospel. Therefore we engage in mission activities and support mission activities.

Community
Resurrection is a Congregation Connected. Connected to God by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Connected to each other by the blood of Christ. Connected to our community by the love of Christ. Connected to the world by the commission of Christ.
